Who else is as excited as I am about the collection of Resurrection Man Volume 1 into Trade Paperbacks? The first half (14 issues) of Abnett and Lanning’s original late 90’s run will be collected in a big, brilliant beauty of a book, for which I am unfeasibly excited. I let out a brief audible squeal, told my long-suffering and nowhere-near-interested-enough-in-comics-for-me-to-keep-blabbering-on-at-her-about-this girlfriend and rushed to Amazon UK, where the current preorder price of £13.49 amounts to less than £1 per issue’s worth of content.
If you haven’t read it, but have been following the new 52 iteration of the character, then… well, what are you doing? It’s brilliant? Go preorder it now! The new series is pretty good, but it hasn’t yet lived up to its predecessor at all. Catch up on the original, brilliant run for what is a hell of a price. Go. Now.
Oh and in case anyone doesn’t know the character, when Mitch Shelley gets killed, he gets reborn with a new power, and honestly I’m too excited about this whole affair to type a coherent description so just go and look it up.
