Holy shit - I just can’t stop reading Avengers: The Initiative. Best issue so far is definitely The Washout but it’s all good. This picture’s definitely going on the wallpaper rota too. 3-D Man just got awesome.

I love this character now. He made SI: The Avengers worth reading, and I’ve just wasted way too much time making this to celebrate his frogginess. I’m going to sit down and read The Initiative now just for his few appearances in it. I haven’t been this excited about a character since I discovered the existence of Bouncing Boy.

Because Amulet is awesome…
…and Kazu Kibuishi’s art is beautiful as hell.
I only gave this a try because Daisy Kutter: The Last Train was so damn good, but while I probably prefer the story in that, the art in this is phenomenal. Like this:

It’s almost half 6 in the morning…
… and I need to be up in an hour. Fuck sleep. If it doesn’t want to be my friend, then I don’t want to be its friend either.
I know if I sleep now, there’s no way I’ll make it to my 9 o’clock lecture. Bollocks.

It’s seven in the morning and I still can’t sleep. Oh well, at least I’m finally getting round to reading The Walking Dead. It’s not bad. I do love Kirkman - Invincible was what really got me into comics, I loved The Irredeemable Ant-Man, I’m collecting The Astounding Wolf-Man at the moment (only have the first couple of issues of it though) and anyone who doesn’t love Science Dog is dead inside.
I’m going to be tired as hell tomorrow though.

Rocking this new wallpaper (image from doctoroddfellow). One of the select 1960 wallpapers between 37 folders that I currently have on my computer. Could really probably manage with at least a hundred less, but you can’t be too careful when it comes to killing time on the computer.
